Each month I am going to post my favorite photo/story. I can share a little of my life this way :)
Story: This is from 1/16/09. I went to Fiddlers Hearth in South Bend with Katrina. We went to see one of our favorite bands play- Roger Drawdy and the Fire Starters. We had a lot of fun and drank some yummy Strongbow (cider beer from England i think). We were there from about 8:30 til 10 and headed to meet our friends, Selina and Lori (and their men) in downtown Elkhart. There was a pub crawl which was a big deal for Elkhart. Not much goes on there- except bad press about it being the highest unemployment rate in the nation. yea, glad i'm not looking for a job there anymore. Not that Lansing is much better but it lets me rent my own apartment. We first met up at 523 Tap and Grill which was pretty busy. We pulled tables together and had a drink or two. Once that was done, Katrina went home to her hubby, and the rest of us moved across the street to Harrison Landing. Lori left at some point since it was busy. Selina, her man, and I stayed til about 1:30 and my best friend was nice enough to drive me home. It was a really fun night and I enjoyed spending it with my old friends from my last job.
