My history in Knitting
My grandma (mom's mom) taught me basics in 2006 of knitting. When my great grandma (dad's grandma) passed away, I inherited more tools and patterns. Since then I have purchased even more supplies. With each new project, I challenge myself to learn new skills. I started being serious about this hobby in 2008 when I made many christmas gifts for others. In 2009 I began listing / selling my knitting creations.
My history in jewelry
I have two cousins sporting cute hand made hemp jewelry. I wanted some. I like to be self sufficient in many ways, this being one. so i taught myself how to make them. Simple story :) i LOOVEE bead shopping too.

I am a full time professional, currently a credit analyst in Lansing, MI. My etsy shop is a part time (which actually means every other second Im not at the bank or asleep) love of mine. I started this shop to spread the love. :D My main audience is women from contemporary to spunky. I sell all things knit and crochet, as well as my hemp jewelry. I have always been told I have a unique look and it is true. I take my personality and transfer a little into everything that I create. It would be selfish to keep it to myself. Inspiration
My mother is my number one inspiration in life, my shop, and my crafting. She is a very strong loving woman with a great sense of style. A lot of my style and and personality is a derivative of her. I just take it up a level on the flashy side.
The inspiration for my taste in fashion and my craft: JEM. The 80's cartoon. I loved it as a little girl. Animal prints and crazy neon colors and flashy outfits. It spoke to me as a kid and still does today.
The peace that comes from and flows through my work is there because I found Bob Marley. If he is not in your life, he should be. The world would be a much nicer place if that were the case. :) He is a happy free spirit and always helps life my soul which heads to creative thinking. I am one of those happy artists.
